No Experience? No Problem! We can't wait to welcome you on the ice. 

 You don’t need any curling experience—or even your own gear. Our team will guide you every step of the way. Just bring clean indoor running shoes, and we’ll provide the rest.

Whether you’re seeking a new winter activity, a way to stay active, or are simply curious about this Olympic sport, our Learn to Curl program offers the perfect introduction to curling. Designed specifically for beginners, this six-week program provides a fun, social, and supportive environment where you’ll learn the fundamentals—from delivery and sweeping to rules and strategy.

What to Expect

Each weekly session builds on the last, helping you develop skills and confidence on the ice. Our experienced instructors tailor instruction to your pace and experience level, using a blend of hands-on teaching and guided gameplay. It’s relaxed, welcoming, and designed to ensure you have fun while learning something new

What You’ll Learn

 Curling terms, rules, and etiquette
Proper delivery techniques and balance
Sweeping, judging weight, and reading line
Team communication and basic strategy
How to play a full game with confidence

Progression

After completing the six-week program, many participants transition into one of our regular leagues—most often the Friday Night Social or Sunday Night Social League. It’s a great way to continue curling, make new friends, and feel part of the club community.
